Industrial development is mainly concentrated in the following six fields: new energy resources, new materials, the aluminum industry, the chemical industry, the services industry and agriculture.
1 Coal chemical industries: carbinol and its derivatives, acetylene chemical industry chemical fertilizer, oil made by coal, coal bed gas and coke-oven gas development.
2 Equipment manufacturing: mine machinery, valves, water pumps, casting, parts for textile apparatus, checking systems for coal mine security, high-pressure electro ceramics and new-type basic machines.
3 Material industries: gangue cement, flash cement, industrial waste residue cement, materials for walls, advanced neodymium iron and boron magnetism materials, high-performance refractory ceramic powder metallurgic and fiber materials.
4 Aluminum industries: alumina, electrolytic aluminum, aluminum mould and section, and aluminum alloy.
5 Environmental protection industries: projects of cyclic utilization, natural resources saving, comprehensive utilization, environmental protection products, cleanliness manufacturing technique, and reducing discharged contamination.
6 The unique features of agriculture and farm products processing: exploitations of wastelands, barren mountains and medium and low yield land; water conservancy construction; processing of coarse cereals and farming livestock products; and new-type feedstuff additives.
7 Service industry: transportation, finance, lawyers, agencies, consultation, real estate, design and decoration, community service, wholesale, retail, storage, hotels, food and beverage, and tourisms.
8 Infrastructure: water supply, heat supply, gas supply, sewage treatment, garbage treatment, rebuilding old town, public traffic, roads and bridges.
9 State-owned corporations: allowing joint stock, control and merger and integration.
10 Social sector: science and technology, education, public health, culture, and sports.
11 Promotion and alteration trades: coal, metallurgy, electricity, and chemistry.
